All LUCAS™ Chest Compression Systems are designed to deliver quality compressions according to the guidelines, to fit on most patients in most situations and to be easy to carry, apply and operate.

Effective compressions as defined by guidelines, tirelessly –
consistently – continuously

• Sternal compressions on the middle of the chest
• Depth; 4 - 5 cm (1.5 - 2.0 inches)
• Rate of 100 strokes per minute
• An equal compression / decompression time
• Allows for full chest recoil between each compression.

• Maximum chest width of 45 cm (17.7 inches)*

It is easy to use, lightweight and compact and can be applied quickly
(with “no-flow” of less than 20 seconds).

Power source & operation

LUCAS™1 is fully pneumatic (compressed air). Breathing air from a portable compressed air cylinder, or air outlet in hospital/ambulance with a nominal supply pressure within 3.2–6.0 bar* (46-87 psi*)

LUCAS™2 is fully electric. LiPo battery with operation time of 45 minutes (typical), or connected to electricity wall outlet (100-240V / 50/60 Hz) or car outlet (12-24V).
